CakeChef Bakery - Discover the Best Desserts in Staten Island

I forget the Cake Cafe is open early. A few weeks ago I dropped by for a piece of crumb cake. They didn’t have plain, so I ended up with apple crumb cake. It was delicious!Today I stopped by again and bought a piece of apple cheese crumb cake. It was even more delicious! The ladies at the counter are friendly and courteous. Their boss should be proud that they work so hard preparing for the days customers!

This is another place I could thank Instagram for introducing me to this 30 year old gem. This cash only bakery may look small, but they have a great assortment of cookies, cakes, pastries, and more. It is so hard to pick something as a first-time buyer, so I opted for some lobster tails and slices of crumb cake. I was truly astounded on how reasonably priced everything is, especially since everything I purchased was great. The lobster tails were huge, loaded with cream, and were very flaky. The store itself is clean and the staff is very friendly and patient. Also, parking doesn't seem to be an issue in this area, so that is another plus. There are other really good bakeries in Staten Island, but I think this is one of the best. I will definitely stop in again the next time I am in the area.

Live in Bernardsville New Jersey and have to go to the dentist now in Staten Island near Jewett avenue. I think that's why I keep going back to the dentist. The cherry crumb pie is the best I have ever had in my life and I'm not young and I love pastries

I LOVEEE CAKE CHEF!!! I HATEEE sweets like cake , cookies , cupcakes etc. But cake chefs just makes them sooo good that when I go there I don’t hate sweets. My favorite thing to get is definitely the apple crumb cheese cake. Like when I tell you it’s the best thing I’ve ever tasted I’m not even lying .(cake chef never stop making it) I love it so much the we got like 9 of them for my birthday cake instead of an actual cake (I don’t like cake but cake chefs cheesecake is an exception) anyways try this place! You won’t regret it

I have to say their cakes are good, my kids love it. I find it a little too sweet but that's me. Over all they make good cakes. When it comes to Customer Service I think the girls need a little more training because they look like they're unhappy and answer you with a slight attitude issue.

Best strawberry & blueberry layer cake outside of Carlos Bake Shop. Homemade whipped creme is light, airy & scrumptious. The cookie trays, fresh & ready to go to any affair have a nice variety, all delicious!

I dream of this apple crumble day and night. Its not too sweet, it has the perfect amount of tartness to sweetness ratio. I dont know what else I have to say. You missing out if you dont order this. Excuse the crusty picture... its just that good.

Cake chef has always been my go to bakery since I was young, but recently I asked if they were able to create a decorative cake for an event and boy did they deliver. They made the cake EXACTLY like the inspo picture and of course it tasted delicious. Everyone was raving about how beautiful the cake looked and how it tasted. Cake chef made the process so easy and I am so thankful for everything they did !!!
